Luxe by Mr. Bubble
A few years ago a marketing genius realized two things:
- 1) People grow up with brands but they need the brands to grow up with them
- 2) Rebranding an old product is not a sin, it’s a blessing
That’s what seems to have happened at Mr. Bubble, where they used the retro cool signature Mr. Bubble pink, seafoam green and blushed peach and revamped the packaging for grownups and Millennials, while simultaneously adding new products that they would want to use themselves.
As the company describes, “Resurrecting the beloved powdered bubble bath and introducing new products like Bubbletini Bath Bombs, Just a Spritz Fragrance Mist and Shine On Lip Balm, Luxe by Mr. Bubble is bringing back the lost luxury of bath time. And this time, no kids allowed!”
We are certainly enraptured by this new product line, not only how it looks, but also how it feels. The packaging is certainly something you would want to display for guests to see in the bath or bedrooms (or even in hotels).
According to Michelle Hanson, Director of Marketing at The Village Company, parent company of the Mr. Bubble brand, “Mr. Bubble is synonymous with childhood fun but even women need a ‘timeout’ once in a while. Now with our Luxe line, you can pamper yourself and enjoy a relaxing escape,”
The upscale All Buttered Up Body Butter, called Sweet & Clean, is enriched with Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil and Coconut Oil. The Guilt Free Cocoa Butter Bar in “Original Bubble” also includes Cocoa and Shea Butter.
HALLU
Partner brand HALLU also has introduced four new collections offering a mythical place in time where escapism is reality — Unicorn, Mermaid, Fairy and Gnome — each with its own unique fragrance and personality.
Of course with Fairies comes a bit of fairy dust, and the Fairy lotion includes a bit of gold mica to glitter and twinkle very subtly on your skin in the daylight. Cool.
Hallu is available in a wide number of retail stores and chains that carry luxury beauty products at economical prices. “Until now, high-quality bath and body products that look and perform like our HALLU line have been found only in specialty stores at premium prices. We wanted to make these unique personal care experiences more attainable and affordable so everyone has the opportunity to indulge and escape into this magical world,” said Michelle Hanson, of The Village Company, also parent company for the HALLU brand.
