An Ambassador of BBQ Sauce
You always know that you have a special product in hand when you casually mention it at a cocktail party and someone yells out that they love it so much and they can never find it at Whole Foods when they are looking at it, so they have to tell the store manager to order it. That has been our experience with Rufus Teague Barbecue Sauces.
Barbecue sauces are like chili or spaghetti, in that depending on the region the flavors and spices are completely different, and therefore so are everyone’s tastes. But we have found that Rufus Teague Barbecue Sauces seem to appeal to a wide variety of tastes, much wider than usual. We have also found that they are especially useful on a number of different dishes. We have used the sauces of course on barbecue, but also on chicken, fish tacos, and even fried tofu. It has even been successfully used on pork katsu.
We cannot say that we are the barbecue sauce aficionados that some food lovers may claim to be, but we do know barbecue sauces, and we do know what we like. And we LOVE Rufus Teague Barbecue Sauces.
Rufus Teague also has a line of spice rubs that work especially well for fancying up inexpensive fish like tilapia.
Plus, who doesn’t love a BBQ sauce bottle shaped like a flask of Bourbon?
