TasteTV Announces MUSIC VIDEO AWARDS Name and Brand Change
TasteTV is pleased to announce that it has changed the name of the annual MUSIC CALIFORNIA VIDEO AWARDS to the more all-encompassing CALIFORNIA MUSIC VIDEO AWARDS.
In addition, from now through October 31st it has also officially opened the awards to entries from film festival sites such as FilmFreeway and Without a Box, as well as those automatically entered by partner Hip Video Promo.
Do you love watching and listening to Music Videos? Do they help you find new music, and hear music that you follow? The CALIFORNIA MUSIC VIDEO AWARDS celebrates music videos from some of the most exciting and creative musicians and artists with physical or thematic connections to the Golden State.
The CALIFORNIA MUSIC VIDEO AWARDS event brings together music videos, musician appearances, live music, fans, and of course music video awards.
Previous awards events included appearances by award winning and nominated artists Xavier Toscano, The Christopher Brothers, Jon Mullane, Travis Marsh, Noodlez, Kaleigh, Austin David, Aaron Orbit, Maryama, TasteTV and more.
ABOUT THE CALIFORNIA MUSIC VIDEO AWARDS
The CALIFORNIA MUSIC VIDEO AWARDS celebrate some of the most exciting and creative California-influenced music, musicians and artists. They honor great work and that California connection!
Entries do not need to be from a California artist, but must have a stated California connection (theme, location, artist, label, formal eductation, or etc.)
The awards were launched by TasteTV’s music television series, MUSIC CALIFORNIA. The MUSIC CALIFORNIA television series for the San Francisco Bay Area and Wine Country reaches over 2.5 million households on PBS-affiliate station KRCB. The program brings a festival of West Coast music to California viewers, and includes featured music videos and interviews from California-based bands, artists, and musicians.
The CALIFORNIA MUSIC VIDEO AWARDS annual show takes place in one of San Francisco’s unique music venue, and is an amazing evening bringing together music videos, musician appearances, fans, and of course music video awards
