Red Rocker Sammy Hagar’s new Cocktail Cookbook is a Great Gift for the Musical Mixologist in Your Life
Rock legend Sammy Hagar has not slowed down even a little bit, and to prove it for his 75th birthday celebration he has released an exclusive batch of his Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum called Sammy’s Lost Cask, a 10-Year Aged Rum. This limited edition release of 500 numbered bottles includes 75 unique bottles hand-signed by the Red Rocker. The bottles are priced at $299 each.
Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum was originally made in Hawaii but relocated to Puerto Rico several years ago. Some of those original casks have been resting in oak casks in Maui and now, a decade later, have aged to what Sammy says is perfection.
As a companion endeavor, Sammy also has a fun and tasty new cocktail cookbook, which is essentially a cool collab with himself.
“Sammy Hagar’s Cocktail Hits: 85 Personal Favorites from the Red Rocker,” which chronicles Sammy’s storied life with drinks inspired by that journey – from the laidback beaches of Cabo and Hawaii to the dazzle of Hollywood and Las Vegas.
This book covers everything from tools of the trade and glassware to bases and purees. Many of the cocktails are made with Sammy’s award-winning spirits, Santo Tequila Reposado, Santo Tequila Blanco, Santo Mezquila and Beach Bar Rum.
