CALL FOR ENTRIES: NOMINATION SUBMISSIONS

TASTE AWARDS Finalists are selected from nomination submissions by the ACADEMY OF MEDIA TASTEMAKERS, a diverse and respected association of food & wine editors, writers and bloggers, chefs, fashion journalists, television producers and stations, online video platforms, mobile device providers, retail and technology enterprises, and others.

There is also a set of Viewer's Choice Awards, selected online by the general public.

Winners of the 4th Annual TASTE AWARDS will be announced in December 2012

Winners of the TASTE AWARDS (aka the TASTY Awards) will receive their honors in January 12th, 2013 at a Red Carpet Hollywood celebration in Los Angeles, including 4 complimentary tickets to the event.



WHO CAN SUBMIT A NOMINATION

- Nominations can be submitted by any associate of the program.
- Eligible associates include hosts, producers, production companies, studios, channels, networks, web platforms, sponsors, managers, agents, publicists, representatives, distributors and device systems.
- By submitting a program or content, the entrant warrants that they have the authority to do so.
- Original air dates must be between October 2011 - October 2012.

SUBMISSION PROCESS

- To submit a nomination, please complete the Entry Form (available June 20, 2012)
- On the Entry form, an online link should be provided where the Judge's panel can view/hear/or review a sample(s) of the Entry. In the case of films, an online screening site or a DVD are acceptable.
- All nominations submitted should be accompagnied by the Entry Fee. The Early Bird Fee is $55 (USD). The Standard Fee is $75 (USD). Entrants will be forwarded to the payment page after the nomination has been submitted. Nominations not submitted with an Entry Fee will not be reviewed by the Academy. (Duplicate entries will not be refunded)
- An Entry can be submitted in up to 4 different categories. A new Entry Form must be completed in order to submit a program in more than 4 different categories.
- All Entries must be in English (native, dubbed, or subtitled), excluding the Best Foreign Language Program. Television or radio programs that have not aired in the United States or Canada should be only entered in the International category (Web programs, etc. can be entered into non-International categories).

- Early Bird Nomination Submission: June 20 - July 16, 2012
- Regular Nomination Submission: July 17, 2012
- Nomination Submissions Close; August 24, 2012
- First Round Voting: September 2012
- Final Round Voting: October 2012
- Finalist Nominees announced: November 2012
- TASTE AWARDS Winners announced: December 2012
- TASTE AWARDS Red Carpet Hollywood Gala: January 2013
