Twins For Peace & Singer Macy Gray’s My Good Sneaker Collaboration to Help Families in Need
Sustainable footwear company Twins For Peace, through its social impact initiative, has announced a collaboration with My Good and its founder, Grammy award-winner Macy Gray, on a limited edition series of sneaker releases. Macy Gray co-designed each pair of shoes, with a limited release date. For every pair of sneakers purchased, Twins For Peace will donate a percentage of the proceeds to My Good to help families who have lost loved ones to police brutality.
Twins For Peace and My Good joined together with synonymous values to create a meaningful collaboration that aligns with My Good’s mission to support families affected by police brutality. Twins for Peace was created after founder Max Mussard offered his shoes to a child in Madagascar during a game of soccer and was greatly impacted by the child’s gratitude and happiness after receiving the shoes. Twins For Peace has already worked with NGOs in Colombia, Cameroon, Mozambique, India, Haiti, Mali, Senegal and is excited to begin humanitarian initiatives in the United States with this collaboration. The Soles To Souls objective was created to encourage people to walk in peace and consciously use the soles of the shoes to touch the souls and hearts of others. Soles represent our feet and our behavior to walk in peace, and with every step pushes us to remember there is hope and beauty in the world.
“I have always been a fan of sneakers and partnering with Twins for Peace was a no-brainer, their values soulfully align with My Good” said Gray. “This collaboration is an effort that will benefit families in need, as well as draw attention to the incredible work Twins for Peace does worldwide. While on the road and even during this past year where comfort is key, sneakers have been a staple in my wardrobe and it was an honor to be able to help design this collection that is not only fashion-forward, but gives back in such a humanitarian way.”
Twins For Peace footwear is designed in France and made consciously in Brazil. Each sneaker comes with the Twins For Peace signature elephant logo placed on the sole of each shoe with “Be Cool Be Good” stamped inside the cushion of every pair. Soles To Souls color palette features red, white, and blue representing the American and French flags. Each purchase includes a QR code integrated with a video from Macy Gray on a custom sneaker box.
About Twins For Peace
Created in 2009 by the twins Maxime and Alexandre Mussard, the French brand Twins For Peace was born to promote humanitarian values through its shoes. In 2018 the brand was incorporated into the global group NVH Studios to make it a lifestyle and, at the same time, invest consistently in countries affected by poverty through the creation of long-lasting solidarity projects. Since 2009, the company has donated the equivalent amount of more than 15,000 shoes through the “Be COOL, Be GOOD” initiative and continuously invests in the least developed countries’ health and education systems. Twins For Peace arrived in Brazil in 2011 and 2014 in a partnership with the Gol de Letra Foundation, founded by the player Raí.
About My Good
My Good is a 501(c)3 nonprofit founded in July 2020 by artist Macy Gray, along with Charyn Harris and Grace Blake to support families who have lost an immediate family member due to police brutality. The heart of the mission is to ensure that families receive the much-needed emotional, educational, and financial support as they navigate the aftermath of their loss.
Production Process
To guarantee the sustainability of the products, Twins For Peace sought material inputs with little impact. The soles of the shoes are made with 50% natural rubber, extracted from rubber trees, whose raw material has zero CO2 emissions into the atmosphere and provides resilience, elasticity, and comfort; and 50% recycled rubber, from the reuse of materials that would take years to decompose in nature and which, when transformed, add resistance and durability to the footwear.

Founder Tonino Lamborghini debuts a new line of watches during the Couture Show located at the Wynn in Vegas, and the new line is sure to dazzle the audience.
Says Tonino, “In 1981, I started up my new Tonino Lamborghini Style and Accessories company. At the time, I assisted my father in the family group, but I felt the need to do something exclusively of my own, different from the world of engines. I have always been interested in design and accessories, and I took inspiration from my engineering background.”
The three types of watches that are premiering are the Spyderleggero Chrono Automatic, the Spyder Chrono Watch, and the Cuscinetto Automatic. Each design has a striking and sleek look; perfect for a person who loves style and luxury. The watches certainly make a statement and are made to be extremely high quality.

Cuscinetto dates back to 1983 when Tonino Lamborghini created one of his first watch models taking inspiration from a mechanical element, the ball bearing (in Italian, cuscinetto). He created this model using a special bidirectional rotating bezel with a design recalling the machine element that constrains relative movement to the desired motion and reduces friction between moving parts. 38 years later it has been redesigned with the case in titanium with Torx® screws and four different colour variations, mounted a new movement, and inserted a branded deployant buckle.

Paris Fashion Designer FARHAD RE Releases Latest Eco Responsible Capsule Collection
Parisian fashion designer Farhad Re is incorporating sustainable fashion concepts into his latest collection, and uses pieces from the collection as a canvas to mirror his moods. The fabric colors he uses are 100% vegetable and organic, with 100 % biological pigments.
In Farhad’s atelier in Paris, these colorized dresses allow us to discover new architectural facets thanks to the way they are painted. Shadows and volumes are reflected differently and in a controlled harmony.
In this new Farhad Re Couture Paris collection — created during the COVID lockdown — Farhad‘s muse Galatea escapes from her monochrome universe and discovers a multicolored and hopeful world thanks to the arrival of a vaccine.
As in classical mythology, Galatea rediscovers the Red of Love, the Blue of the Sky, the Green of Hope, and the Yellow of Light and of the Sun. Regardless of a few dark clouds still looming in the distance, Galatea optimistically feels the world is coming back to life.
This Farhad Re collection embodies a rise and escalation of Hope, along with the spirit of eco-responsibility.

Saint Mojavi Drops Fashion Collection that Promote Chic Style and Sustainability
Saint Mojavi is a Los Angeles based ready-to-wear label focused on reducing their eco-footprint through thoughtful production practices.
Saint Mojavi was founded in 2018 by Hawai’i born designer, Teresa Pinedo. Since the start of the brand, Pinedo has been extremely passionate about reducing excess waste and made this a key component of the Saint Mojavi ethos. The brand was also recently highlighted on Forbes as one of “Four Sustainable Fashion Brands You Need To Know.”
Pinedo incorporates pre-loved fabrics into each collection — these fabrics are mainly sourced from local mom & pop shops who no longer need it. Many fabrics are re-worked into multiple Saint Mojavi collections, bringing new life to past materials in various ways.
One example is how Pinedo re-invented a colorful plaid seersucker fabric from her “La Cartagena 2020” collection into the “La Escapar 2021” collection. Fashion loves can see how she used this fabric to create a tri-color patchwork print for classic styles like the Cieza Tee and Talavera Tube Dress.
In practice, no fabric goes to waste at the Saint Mojavi atelier in Downtown Los Angeles. Extra scraps are used to create fashionable accessories like bucket hats, gloves, and even reversible face-masks. In addition, last year Saint Mojavi removed their wholesale partnerships and became entirely “Made to Order,” significantly reducing excess fabrics and packaging. Even the buttons on each piece are either sourced locally or are vintage so that nothing ends up in a landfill. Going forward the brand will also be using fully biodegradable packaging.
Saint Mojavi also has a growing list of celebrity fans, including Kendall Jenner.
