Diplo is taking it out of the clubs and into the country, with a new country music album that is dropping. The album includes collabs with some interesting names, such as Noah Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, Zac Brown & Danielle Bradbery, Cyrus, Peck and more. The album is called, DIPLO PRESENTS THOMAS WESLEY CHAPTER 1: SNAKE OIL.
Directed by longtime collaborator Brandon Dermer—who directed all the videos for this album—“On Mine” was shot at Far West Farms in Calabasas, where Cyrus grew up riding horses, and follows videos for “Do Si Do” featuring Blanco Brown and “Dance With Me” featuring Thomas Rhett and Young Thug.
Additionally, Diplo debuts a Snake Oil-themed digital board game today—play it here. Fans can roll the die and play as Diplo as he journeys west and encounters the various artists featured on the album.
Snake Oil includes double Platinum single “Heartless” with Morgan Wallen (and its alternate version with Julia Michaels, which is climbing pop radio charts), “Lonely” with Jonas Brothers, “Do Si Do” with Blanco Brown and “So Long” with Cam.

- Old Town Road (Diplo Remix)
Diplo—who grew up in Daytona Beach, Florida—has long been incubating ideas for this country project, bringing it to the public for the first time at Stagecoach’s first ever Late Night dance party in 2019, where he welcomed Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus for the live debut of “Old Town Road.” Diplo also released his own remix of “Old Town Road” and appeared on stage at the 2020 Grammys for a performance of the #1 hit alongside Lil Nas X, Billy Ray Cyrus, Mason Ramsey, BTS and more.
MUSIC VIDEO: Harry Styles is sweet as heck with Watermelon Sugar
Harry Styles is one cool dude. Smooth, stylish, and definitely a man with own sense of self. That’s what makes his new hit “Watermelon Sugar” so darn sweet. The song is catchy and light, while at the same time being extremely provocative and seductive.
It leaves you thinking, “Is watermelon sugar really what I think it is?”
3 MOVING MUSIC VIDEOS: “Denied”, “Stand Up!”, and “Nina Cried Power”
Today we recommend three great music videos for these times.

- STAND UP! by Daniel Osario. California Music Video Awards Award Winning video, Best Rap Music Video Award (view here on Facebook)
- NINA CRIED POWER, Hozier feat. Mavis Staples
MUSIC VIDEO: Doja Cat – Say So
Doja Cat is currently both super hot and somewhat controversial. Some of her past online posts and lyrics have upset fans, but apparently not enough to keep her music video, “Say So”, from logging over 125,000,000 views on YouTube.
Of course we can see the appeal. The video is a hip and mod 70’s influenced dance beat set in a Hollywood Hills style bachelorette pad.
Groovy baby!

Apple releases the greatly anticipated new iPhone SE
After years of rampant rumors and pleas from fans, Apple finally releases the greatly anticipated second generation of the iPhone SE, with a starting price of $399.
In addition to a lower, more affordable price range, the main reason that the original iPhone SE was so popular was that it allowed users to hold and use it in one hand, as well as place it comfortably in a front pants pocket. It also retained the front Home button that many found useful, versus the swipe that many of Apple’s later iPhones require.
After Apple began to empty it’s inventory of the original iPhone SE with sales and sold out promotions, there was general hope that this product would launch in April 2019, then Fall of 2019. This did not happen, and many holders of the original refused to upgrade to the larger, more expensive iPhones in Apples lineup.
There were long-running rumors that the new iPhone SE would sport the name, iPhone 9, or Iphone SE 2, but in the end, Apple stuck with the brand name of this unique mobile.
The iPhone SE now uses the of the general body shape of the iPhone 8, along with a 4.7 inch display. It also has an Apple A13 Bionic chip, similar to the iPhone 11 and Iphone 11 Pro. The camera has also been upgraded to a 12MP sensor with 4K video capability. PLUS, you can finally use an SE for Portrait Mode.
According to Apple, “The first iPhone SE was a hit with many customers who loved its unique combination of small size, high-end performance and affordable price; the new second-generation iPhone SE builds on that great idea and improves on it in every way — including our best-ever single-camera system for great photos and videos — while still being very affordable,” said Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. “iPhone SE features the industry-leading performance of A13 Bionic that enables great battery life, takes stunning Portrait mode and Smart HDR photos, shoots amazing videos with stereo audio, is great for games and super fast web surfing, and is built with the same industry-leading security features our customers expect. We can’t wait to get iPhone SE into customers’ hands.”
