Internationally recognized Dutch Canadian model-turned-DJ/producer Eva Shaw has released a new single “High,” (Brooklyn Knights/Sony RAL) featuring Grammy Award Winner, Shaggy and up-comer, Demarco. The track has a tropical island dancehall feel, and is available on Spotify, Apple Music and purchase the track on iTunes.
About “High” Shaw explains, “I had the pleasure of having Shaggy jump on stage with me during one of my shows and he stayed up there for the whole set. We had such a great vibe together on stage and I’ve been a huge fan of his my whole life. I wanted to create a crossover between his dance hall and reggae roots mixed with my feel good dance music. When Demarco jumped on board, he put the last needed touch on this record”
Shaggy adds, “I had an amazing time working with Eva on her latest release. This song is a really good record with high energy, and a modern EDM/Dancehall twist. Demarco lends his vocals to the chorus beautifully, which makes it even more infectious.”
Eva recently saw success with here single “Rise N Shine,” featuring the vocals of singer songwriter-producer Poo Bear (known for his work on Justin Bieber’s “Where Are Ü Now” and “What Do You Mean?”). The single, which has over 12 million streams on Spotify, was a crossover hit showcasing Eva’s ability to take on the Top 40 world, in addition to club-ready dance anthems.
