Noah Cyrus on Diplo’s new country album, Diplo Presents Thomas Wesley Chapter 1: Snake Oil

Diplo is taking it out of the clubs and into the country, with a new country music album that is dropping. The album includes collabs with some interesting names, such as Noah Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, Zac Brown & Danielle Bradbery, Cyrus, Peck and more. The album is called, DIPLO PRESENTS THOMAS WESLEY CHAPTER 1: SNAKE OIL.

Directed by longtime collaborator Brandon Dermer—who directed all the videos for this album—“On Mine” was shot at Far West Farms in Calabasas, where Cyrus grew up riding horses, and follows videos for “Do Si Do” featuring Blanco Brown and “Dance With Me” featuring Thomas Rhett and Young Thug.

Additionally, Diplo debuts a Snake Oil-themed digital board game today—play it here. Fans can roll the die and play as Diplo as he journeys west and encounters the various artists featured on the album.

Snake Oil includes double Platinum single “Heartless” with Morgan Wallen (and its alternate version with Julia Michaels, which is climbing pop radio charts), “Lonely” with Jonas Brothers, “Do Si Do” with Blanco Brown and “So Long” with Cam.

MUSIC VIDEO: Doja Cat – Say So

Doja Cat is currently both super hot and somewhat controversial. Some of her past online posts and lyrics have upset fans, but apparently not enough to keep her music video, “Say So”, from logging over 125,000,000 views on YouTube.

Of course we can see the appeal. The video is a hip and mod 70’s influenced dance beat set in a Hollywood Hills style bachelorette pad.

Groovy baby!

Manplacement: Who Did It Better, Beyonce or Taylor?

Women have often felt they would have things better, easier and faster if they were men instead of women. Two singers have expressed this predicament in their songs. Beyonce in her legendary hit, IF I WERE A BOY, and Taylor Swift most recently in THE MAN

Which do you think did a better job? Or really, are they both just awesome?
