Jade Chocolate's Genmaicha Chocolate Bar, with matcha green tea and roasted rice.   Overall, Marti Chocolatt showed amazing innovation with flavor, everything I tried was better than the taste before. I found her work outstanding! "I was blown away by the products of Gateau et Ganache; I loved the creativity and passion of Socola (perhaps a ""Most Creative"" award next year?); Motombo's chocolate coated, hand-peeled whole cocoa beans were wonderful; and I adored the kid salespeople at NewTree!" So hard to choose :-) Dolce Bella Irish Coffee or Landru's Berries truffle.. Everyone stepped outside the box. Loved most of the new flavors. Sour cherry caramel truffle from Gateau et Ganache was surprising and luxurious.   My personal favorites were...Cocoa Atlanta Chocolates discussing the coaca bean roasting and tasting the different chocolates, and Carlos from Fabrica de Momotombo discussing the volcanic soil in which the cocoa beans are grown in Nicaragua....and tasting them of course!!!! Personal Fav is Amano. There were so many good contenders, but Amano was perfect. Madecasse was also top notch. Socola's Sriracha, Snake & Butterfly's Jalapeno dulce de leche; Salt Side Down's Umami/Sweet Fungus Amongus; Vice's Violent Heart Chipotle Caramel; New Tree's Pink Peppercorn. Just amazing creativity in flavor this year! So hard to pick one!! Coco Tutti Orange Confit Caramels Toffee Talk Toffee The lime with tequila truffle by Gateau et Ganache. J.
